THANK YOU FOR CHOOSING DC MECHANIC We’re a mobile mechanic company servicing all of central and Northern WI as well as parts of the UP. Husband and wife owned. Our mechanics are ASE certified Dalton is a diesel technician / master mechanic, & has several certifications on top of that. About 15 years of experience. Prior to starting our own business he was a master lead mechanic with a large trucking company. We chose to move to Wisconsin for family based reasons. & his job wanted to transfer however there were no locations this far north. So we decided to do it! Try to achieve our dream of owning and running our own small business. All employees are family. We are a small family company. & strive to have amazing customer service to better assist you during the repair process! We know vehicle repairs are never “pleasant” but the process of it can be!! We’re happy to explain, discuss, and answer all questions you may have about the process. And EDUCATE you on the repairs. What we do: An ASE certified mechanic/ diesel technician will come to your home or location to get your vehicle/truck/big rig/equipment repaired and/or diagnosed. (We do have a small mobile service/travel fee.) You never have to leave your home if you don’t want. They will run and grab parts (if you don’t already have them.) You can get the repair done while you are in the comfort of your own home, no paying for a tow to the shop, we can come to you wherever you’re broken down, or just for the convenience of wanting to stay home, and not go out. Watch the game while we do the work! We come to you! We never upcharge for parts. If you want to find them and provide them to us for the job, that’s totally fine! PLEASE be sure to check with your technician if you have questions about the right parts, we cannot do the repair if the parts are incorrect. (If you have the wrong parts you will have to pay the service fee twice for us to come back to repair so please cross reference your parts to your vin/license plate.) We’d be happy to help you find parts. We care about our customers, that’s why we started this business to help people feel more comfortable with repairs. & Make them more convenient for you. We are always sure to communicate the repairs with you, we never push services that you don’t want/need. We always recommend the best options to fix your vehicle. We work on many different types of equipment and vehicles, if it’s got an engine, chances are we can fix it. Cars, trucks, diesel engines, semis, box trucks, commercial busses/vans, heavy duty equipment, agricultural equipment, SNOW MOBILES, RVs, trailers, hydraulics, crane trucks, boom trucks, ETC. (NO SMALL ENGINES, like lawn mowers, ATV/UTVs.) We can do certain jobs priced by the job, depending on job. Most jobs we do labor rate book times based on hourly. *1HR minimum charge for all service calls. We typically charge: Snow Mobiles - $75** HR (**Starting at**) Cars/Gas engines - $100HR Diesel Engines (full size trucks/vans) - $125HR Heavy Duty/Agricultural Equip. - $125HR Diesel Engines (Semi, Busses, RV, Box trucks,etc.) - $150HR BRAKES/Rotors: Cars/Gas engines- $125 an axle Full size Trucks/diesel engines i.e: F250 (not large rigs)- $150 an axle *These are LABOR rates only. These rates CAN vary based off job,location and type of equipment, please speak with a technician to discuss repairs and costs. These costs also do not include your mobile service/milage fees, or parts.*

Cancellation Policy

NONREFUNDABLE Deposit Policy: This policy outlines the terms regarding deposits required to secure service appointments. All deposits paid are nonrefundable. This means that once a deposit is made, it cannot be returned under any circumstances, including cancellations or rescheduling by the customer. Day of cancellations can also be charged 25% of your total appointment service. If you need to reschedule. We understand life gets busy, and things happen. We would be happy to get you rescheduled. If you give less than 48 hours notice for rescheduling you will need to place a new deposit, and have a new appointment set into place. If DC mechanic needs to cancel your deposit can be refunded, OR your appointment can be rescheduled. If you chose to reschedule your deposit still remains non refundable, or discounted. The deposit will be applied toward the service fee, not labor. You will still be charged your mobile/service fee upon any cancellation of your appointment. (The deposit is your total service fee, base service fee is $50, if further than 50miles an additional $1 per mile will be added to this cost.) This deposit is required at the time of booking to confirm and hold your appointment/ service with DC MECHANIC. Without the deposit, the appointment will not be held. A PAID deposit is the only way to hold your appointment. If unpaid, your appointment is not confirmed. Your appointment will automatically be cancelled if deposit is not paid. Any exceptions to this policy must be approved in writing by DC MECHANIC management. ALL payments for services are due time of service. Mechanic's Lien Policy: This policy establishes the terms under which a mechanic's lien may be placed on a vehicle for unpaid services and repairs. This policy applies to all vehicles serviced or repaired by DC MECHANIC. Full payment for all services and repairs is due AT THE TIME OF SERVICE unless prior written arrangements have been made. If you are receiving a multiple day services for Large-XL jobs you must make payments of services for labor and parts purchased each day at end of day to your mechanic. If payment is not received in full within 24 hours after the completion of work, DC MECHANIC reserves the right to place a mechanic's lien on the vehicle as authorized under applicable state law. The vehicle will not be released until all outstanding charges, including any applicable storage fees and lien enforcement costs, are paid in full. You will be notified in writing of any intent to place a mechanic's lien and any subsequent actions taken. This policy is governed by the laws of the state of Wisconsin. Agreeing to this deposit and DC MECHANIC policy you agree as well; our warranty is based on the confidence we have in our work and our ability to properly diagnose and repair your vehicle. If another mechanic or shop performs work on the vehicle, we can no longer guarantee the quality and reliability of the original repair. Please be advised that this warranty is null and VOID if any repairs or modifications are performed on the warranted system by a mechanic or repair facility other than DC Mechanic. Your parts warranty would be based off the supplier where the parts were purchased. Thank you for your understanding. We reserve the right for our technicians to use cameras and recording devices, including dash cams, body cams, and other video/audio equipment, for the purpose of ensuring our personal safety and protection. These may be used to record activities related to the performance of duties and operation of vehicles. Recording is conducted to document events, provide evidence in case of incidents, and promote a secure & safe environment. All recordings will be made in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The use of such devices is intended solely for safety and security purposes, and recordings will be handled responsibly and confidentially. This policy affirms our right to record as a measure to protect ourselves and our property at all times. By using dash cams and body cams, we aim to protect our team, reduce risks, and ensure clear documentation of events for safety. All recordings are the property of DCMechanic, and may be reviewed to investigate safety concerns, incidents, or disputes. Devices must not be tampered with, disabled, or removed without authorization. Devices must not be tampered with, disabled, or removed without authorization. We are now accepting AFTERPAY, KLARNA & AFFIRM to make payment arrangements easier for our clients. ** these payment methods are A PAY-BEFORE-SERVICES METHOD. YOU MUST QUALIFY FOR AFTERPAY, KLARNA, OR AFFIRM IN ORDER TO USE THESE SERVICES. Our company DCMechanic does not determine your eligibility. The services themselves do. STEPS TO USE: you will receive a payment link prior to your appointment as the tech arrives. You will click the pay with Afterpay, Klarna or affirm option when paying the invoice. & this MUST be fully fulfilled before your appointment begins. You will be notified of your spending power or denial when you try this option. THIS IS A NONREFUNDABLE METHOD. & prices will be slightly higher due to the fees involved to use payment methods. Please also note if you are declined these payment methods and this was your planned payment option. You are still responsible for the $50 service fee you were charged as a deposit as your tech still arrived at the appointment.
